Dr. Legerski served as Professor and Deputy Chair of the Department of Genetics, and as Chair of the Faculty Senate and its Executive Committee at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston TX. His research helped uncover the mechanism of DNA damage repair and its role in cancer, including in the mainstay adjuvant therapy of glioblastoma.

Mark Gilbert, MD
Dr. Gilbert served as Professor and Deputy Chair of the Department of Neuro-Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston TX. More recently, he served as Chief of the Neuro-Oncology Branch and senior investigator at the NIH, Bethesda MD, where he led the Translational Immunology and Precision Medicine Research Programs. His research focuses on clinical trial design, including synthetic lethal drug pairing and immunotherapy, with emphasis on gliomas and rare brain tumors.

Seth Corey, MD, MPH
Dr. Corey is pediatric hematologist/oncologist and research leader at Cleveland Clinic. By using systems biology and the zebrafish animal model, he fosters prominent discoveries in hematologic and neuroectodermal cancers.

Gilbert Cote, PhD
Dr. Cote served as Professor of Endocrine Neoplasia and Hormonal Disorders at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston TX. By using bioinformatic analysis of patient samples, his research helped uncover the role of RNA splicing and expression in neuroendocrine tumors and in glioblastoma.
